Dr. Adam DeCota
Dr. Adam DeCota has been practicing dentistry for over two decades with a focus on complex restorative and cosmetic care — the kind of cases other offices refer out. His foundation in advanced diagnosis comes from the Kois Center in Seattle, one of the most respected postgraduate dental programs in the world, where he has completed over 200 hours of continuing education spanning esthetics, implant dentistry, bite function, and gum health. That training didn't just sharpen his clinical skills — it changed how he thinks about care entirely. Rather than simply treating what's broken, Dr. DeCota works to understand why it broke in the first place.
What sets Dr. DeCota apart in the St. Louis area is that he didn't just complete the Kois curriculum — he earned the designation of Mentor, a distinction that requires passing both a written examination and a clinical skills assessment. Today, he returns to Seattle to help teach and facilitate courses for other dentists going through the program. Additional credentials include a mini-residency in implant placement from the McGarry Implant Institute, completion of F.O.R.C.E. — a specialist-led orthodontic continuing education program modeled after graduate school — and recognition as one of Incisal Edge magazine's Top 40 Dentists Under 40. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and St. Louis Dental Society.

What can I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit is a thorough, no-rush experience. We'll review your health history, take digital X-rays, and Dr. DeCota will personally walk through a comprehensive exam covering your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw. Most patients tell us it's the most thorough exam they've ever had. You'll leave with a clear picture of where you stand and a plan that makes sense.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most major dental insurance plans and handle all your claim submissions electronically for faster reimbursements. Our team will help you understand your benefits before treatment so there are no surprises.
What if I don't have dental insurance?
We offer the DeCo Membership Savings Plan — our in-house alternative to traditional insurance. We also offer interest-free financing through CareCredit. Call us and we'll walk you through what fits your situation best.
Do you see children?
